January 30th, I attended the ICE Out protest in Eugene, Oregon. The week before, fellow journalism students had been teargassed and pepper balled following a day of protest outside the federal building, and similar things happened the day I attended.
Documenting this gave me hope. People are making themselves heard in a time where compliance is forcibly encouraged. We the people are strong.

A friend of mine and I hiked in the Willamette National Forest, and the views were astounding to say the least. I'm always a sucker for waterfall hikes and I love practicing shooting the outdoors, so this was the perfect hike. From details to wide shots, it's all beautiful.
